Your "box gutter" is actually a secret gutter and will block and overflow with the least blockage debris. Plan (funds being available) on a future complete change to a conventional gutter and RWP.

The perished felt will need the eave protectors/felt support trays(and a ripping of felt) to run the width of the house - not just across two tiles.
