We’ve recently purchased a new house and noticed the membrane down towards the eves are wet.

We have eve support trays fitted however we think that water is been soaked up off the membrane and wicking up into the loft? Does this sound plausible? As you can see the water drips onto the membrane and I’m thinking all I need to do is trim it? It is not wet further up and it’s definitely not running from above.

I’m thinking trim it or slide some dpc under the tile just to cover the bottom overhang
