Is it time to replace my roof.

I think this is the original, so it's 56 years old. Had a few issues since moving in & one that is still not sorted out.

Last time i had someone out who did the flaunching he said the roof needs replacing because of its age & they don't do these tiles anymore & would have to be sourced from reclamation yard(expensive ) Quite a few have front corners broken off.

1. As it's this old, should i be replacing it now.

2. Don't know what these tiles are so can't check whether what he says is correct. Can someone identify them. Manu thanks

Marley Delta. They are no longer available, and reclaimed will be the same age and condition - only good for repairs.

They may be approaching notional life end, but that does not mean they need replacing if they are still performing and in good condition.

Looks like an old council house with no or narrow soffits, and if so susceptible to felt rot at the eaves and water penetration there. Plastic eaves protectors deal with this.
