Hi Forum,

Looking to get some advice, had a re-roof done using a firm that did a neighbours around the corner. Price was in the ball-park I was expecting and they completed the work in a day (5 lads).

This week a friend went up to have a look with his extension ladders to take photos. And I have I’m concerned about some tiles not sitting flush and whether the work was as rushed as what I think it may have been.

Yes they’ve been paid, so if there are issues, I would need to see if they would come back or if I’m going to have to cut my losses and chalk it up to one of those things, and live with it. Or do I wait until we get some storms and see how it goes.

Appreciate your thoughts and any practical advice, or if I’m being overly critical, please let me know.

Thanks!

Think you might need to post more photos. The plastic verge looks like it isn't sitting properly, looks really flimsy. The adhesive strip under hip looks like it's not bonded at one point under the tiles. I'm not a roofer though.

You need to actually point out your concerns because from the photos there does not appear to be anything out of the ordinary
