OP,
Unless you are bonding like for like then its best practice to use a bonding gutter.
The Ludlow & the Redlands might appear to have bonded but give it a bit of time and the join will probably leak.
FWIW: there's more to bonding a roof than just installing a bonding gutter.

The Ludlow & the Redland are not compatible:
Their dimensions are different.
Plus the Redland has a camber.
Joining roof covers on the same plane requires taking care and time to do a correct job while giving attention to details.
Or else you might be clambering on the roof doing remedial repairs for many years to come plus the irregular join maybe red flagged by a future mortgage surveyor.
