I am planning on getting a combi boiler installed and would like it installed in the bathroom, is this allowed. I feel it would be too noisey in the kitchen/dining room (used to watch TV in the evenings etc) and knocking out the old airing cupboard in the bedroom so cant put it there.

Would it be OK in the bathroom?

it would have to comply with electrical regs regarding the distance from sink/bath ect. if its a large bathroom then its not a problem.

or put into a cupboard then that cupboard falls out of a special location

Only has to be ipx4 rated and it can go in zone 2. Most quality boilers are rated 4 for water ingres.
