Room stat height

My room stat is around head height. Which means its much colder at knee height. So should the stat be lower or the air reciculated with a fan

Typical poorly informed answer that this forum is awash with!!
A room thermostat should be sited 1.5M above floor level.

That would be the difference between ~5 foot and ~6 foot; hardly an issue that will make a huge amount of difference.

But regardless of what height it is situated it will always be cooler at knee height.

Turn the stat up by a degree or to whatever you feel comfortable at and leave it where it is or buy a pair of legwarmers.

1.5 mtrs is a recommended minimum height I think, not maximum.

I generally fit them asthetically and use common sense. Usually same heaight as light switches tbh

Simple, you use a pull thermostat. You must be new in the trade.
