Hi,
I replaced my old room thermostat yesterday as the dial on the old one had broke.
Everything seemed to be working fine yesterday and last night but I woke up this morning and the boiler was off and no heat.
There are no lights at all on the oil burner so I assume its the thermostat that's the problem. I connected the red and yellow wires to the thermostat as per instructions and previous wiring.
Is there a chance I just ended up with a dodgy thermostat? It's just a basic Sunvic mechanical thing, cost about £13.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kev
