    The size of cutter will affect the peripheral speed;the larger the diameter the higher the speed on the periphery ,so larger dia slower speed needed.find out what the maximum diameter cutter Bosch recomend?see if it fit's your needs,A chat with the tec's at Wealden tool's or Trend would be useful, 33thou seems fast,Get back and tell us your finding'

    Thanks for the advice. I'll try to find someone knowledgeable at one of my local suppliers.

    One thing for sure is that asking Bosch won't get you anywhere. I've just received the most abrupt and frankly annoying response to my enquiry. I paraphrase only slightly: 'the GKF600 is your only choice and if you buy a Colt from overseas we will not honour the warranty"

    its only large diameter cutters that have restrictions but these are normally 1/2" cutters the 600 will be 1/4"
