Rubbing noise from under wheel arch, Punto

A strange tiny rubbing noise come from under the drivers side wheel arch of my 10 year old punto, when you put the car into a left steering wheel lock. plus a very very slight varibation from the steering wheel while in transit.

There is also a tiny flapping noise coming from driver side wheel arch at speed with the wind blowing and i have checked under the car and nothing is loose.

what could this all be?

always difficult to translate some1 elses noises, but av u tried wheel bearing play/noise. puntos also have terrible gearboxs. as for flapping, again, get underneath, check **** shield security, inner wheel arch cowling etc
