Twice in the history of the world, from the dawn of time, before AdamW and Eve... A world cup final footy match has ended in other than tears - for us ... Usually we have less involvement than the stadium car park attendants, even the players couldn't believe they had won. You would expect that attitude if they were Tesco checkout operators press ganged into the team... But very highly paid pro's ??

I'm placing a score on the Sath Offrika corps - after they bargy the poor old Argy.
The plan being, if the Charioteers win the final, the heart will be happy and £20 a pizz drop in the ocean of euphoric malt... If SA win then 'anything to come glad of it' from the bookie will help raise the spirits.

I can see your point, can't say they looked very convincing, England just killed the game, and the French choked a bit. Actually it was a bit of a boring game. Still the final awaits, probably against SA, although they've been known to choke before as well.

RSA are the highest in the IRB World Rankings NZ and France did not live up to their ranking ( 1 and 2 ) For RSA to also buckle would suggest the rankings were rubbish, but even if 66% rubbish, RSA remain top of the shop. and 3 to 1 ON for final... To expect another upset, especially with a massive loss to the same team just weeks ago, nah, I am betting it will not happen.
