18v blue style tools to lithium?

so I have a series of older Ryobi tools and generally bought Ryobi genuine batteries, last pair were knockoffs.
so my charger was the black type that only does the style above

I think my battery charger is shagged.

if I buy a lithium type battery and charger, will it run all my tools?

I acquired a Ryobi 18v Blue drill without battery some years ago (from 'Freecycle'). Works fine with the Li-Ion Batts I have for other Ryobi tools.

Now All I have to do is sort out 18v batts that fit the Tosh drill and charger I have cause the 3 NiCad's batts are FuBBed...

Good luck with that. Toshiba stuff is like hen's teeth in the UK these days

Have found the manual for the bcl 14181h and it specifically says nicad and li-ions

Rcl1850 and rc18ll5 only mentions newer li-ion batteries not the older 2.4ah or nicads
