My recent project (power shower and pumped bath taps) ran well for 9 months but now has had a failure! The pump seems to draw in air somewhere as it the blows it along the bath/shower supply pipes. Seems like hot taps only. No water leak seen so not sure. the sytem is basically all as per manufacturers instructions. Where do I look for a leak?

I see there's lots of other threads about salamander pumps. Just to add a bit more detail to my own thread then...

Pump is level with hot water cylinder bottom, it does have a surrey flange, it does have dedicated cold supply, and it does have 22mm piping. The only other problem I've seen was the pump end cap gasket starting to be squeezed out - I refitted it and tightened up the bolts as far as i dare.

Cheers,S.
