Hopefully somebody can give me pointer to save Christmas dinner. our Samsung BF3ON3T11 built in oven has developed a fault. When using the oven it will run through the pre heat cycle warming the oven but when that finishes and you switch to either top or bottom oven in fan or conventional mode the oven goes cold. on the display it alternates between the time and "pre" also you can hear the fan running. everything works fine on the grill setting. Trying to get somebody in to sort it before the Christmas break is proving difficult

Your cooker has two I believe, the grill which sounds like it works okay and the lower element, the replacement part will cost about £25-£30.
A lot a places don't have these parts on the shelf, so online parts specialist will be required, looks like you will need to be sharp though for next day delivery.
They are generally easy enough to change.

would the pre heat cycle use a different element. when it goes through that pre heat cycle it pings when the oven reaches temp. the oven is warm/hot after pre heat. then we turn the dial to the required oven you can hear the fan but the oven goes cold
