Does this 'electrician' realise that an 8 way TPN board has space for 24 single phase circuits? Nothing in your original list suggested even half that number would be required. An 8 way TPN board has been specified in his updated quote.
If they are intending to install that many, what price did they quote for the 24 RCBOs?
... which, apart from anything else, clearly begs the question as to what 22 circuits he is planning to install. As has been said, you probably wouldn't need half of that.Very good point. Just double checked and he has priced for 22 RCBOs at £880.
Unless you want them on separate circuits, add all 4 ovens and the hob, and apply diversity to that.On a slightly related note - when considering diversity for the 4 cookers is it applied:
a) per appliance?
b) per radial/ring they are on?
c) all together regardless of the connection?
Cheers! Phil

I presume that, as with many sockets circuits, it is simply "unknown" - so all that can be said is that, unlike the situation for the ground floor and basements, there are no known, or predictable, specific loads which can be cited. What's the loading of circuit 16 ?
Yes, I have to say that I might well split it into two circuits, but that still does not get one even remotely close to 22 required final circuits (or a 160A design load for the installation).2 ovens, microwave,& steam oven on a 32a RCBO ? mm, that's a pain in the ass when it trips ! Judging by the kitchen moneys not an issue.
