Hi, I was thinking of getting something like this for cutting out a few awkward bits of 1/2" ply in my bathroom. I'm getting it ready to re-tile.

It's not going to be use for heavy work.

Unless you guys can recommend something better, for in around the same money :)

Can you recommend a compatable wood cutting blade for the Bosch Multi-Tool.

I've one like this, only its an older model.

Thank you.

I can't see any advantage in that saw over a small conventional one, TBH

But from your description a Jigsaw may be better.

Sorry, should have said, I might have to remove 1/2" ply from a stud wall and I would have to cut all the way across the top of the ply about 5 or 6" down from the ceiling. About 7 or 8ft in length and was thinking of one of these.

If I were to do that job I would use my 10.8 mini bosch circular saw, so I guess the works saw is basically the same thing.

OK Thanks so would you think the WORX WX426 should be a good enough wee saw, esp for a bit of light work :) ?

Thanks.

will only cut in strait lines
if you need any curved cuts you need a jigsaw

I've got the dewalt version of this worx saw, and it's amazing for sheet cutting. Much easier than jigsaw or full size circular saw.

I'd highly recommend getting one.
