When you hear someone recall a phone number. It's always an 'O' not a 'Zero'. Makes my blood crawl lol. :LOL:

Think she mean't to say ,"as fit as a butchers dog"
 
Hmm..... a fiddler's elbow does get a lot of exercise but I like "in and out like a fiddler's elbow". ;)

Although if you speak to BT etc... a zero in the first part of the number
(0870, 0845, 0161, 07956 etc) is always spoken as "oh". For the rest of the number, a "0" is spoken as "zero".
 
Why do people say my alarm went off.Should they say it went on?
