Scantronic 9651 - code X21:

Dear All,

I have been using my system for a few months with no issues

I added an extra keypad and the games began.....

I am basically unable to get out of engineer mode as there is a code X21:

Doesnt matter what button I press cant change

Any ideas please

I have searched google, manuals etc just cant find anything

Any help appreciated

Hi, I have disconnected the keypad and still error. I was going to have a go at it again Friday. I agree sounds like it must be stuck but no idea how to get out of it

I have just checked and I have escaped from engineer mode....... very odd, no idea what happened there

I will have a go at setting it up again Friday

all system is now stuck showing faults and tamper. all lights on keypad lit up

Power it down completely, both mains and battery, leave it for about 30 secs, then power up battery first, then try again

Just just tried it as fed up last night....

No joy

Press button - 99 - and it peeps but after about 6 or 8 button presses the peeping changes sound? if that makes sense

99 then the Tick button exits Engineer mode
