My Scantronic 9651 is beeping every two minutes showing the low battery fault. Have booked an engineer who is coming tomorrow but not sure I can take another day and night of constant beeping from the keypad. I have read on other threads that you can take the battery out which will stop the low battery fault from sounding, but will the missing battery fault go off every two minutes instead? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Some times you can open a can of worms by doing something else.
Taking battery out means opening control panel,this will cause a tamper fault which may or may not require an engineer reset.
