Hi, I have recently bought a property that has a Scantronic 9752 installed. The previous owner could not supply the user code so I reset the system. When I enter installer mode & then try to exit it 99, tick the keypad display is constantly scrolling Zone Tamper Z01-Z08. There are no alerts showing on keypad. Grateful if someone could provide me with a workable solution.

Sound like you have done a total default and not a code default?
Code default will restore engineer code and user code back to factory default.
Total default will require the control panel to be reprogrammed from scratch.
Which one have you done ?

Thanks for replying Handymanjo. I did a NVM to restore engineer & user codes. Having checked the zones they are default types for single system as per programming guide (page 3)

Ok. I think I did. Does that mean I need to do a full programming or will it work on the default?

It will need reprogramming.

If the zones weren't showing tamper before hand and they are now, it sounds like at the very least the wring types are now wrong for what you have.

Do you have a zone list (what device is on which zone)?

Sparkymarka, thanks. Is this command 21 opinion 1?

Yes
Might of been easier to ask about code defaults before starting. At least this way you will have a learning curve.

Ok. So did a command 21,1 & I now have a message Zone Open Z08 which is the PA.
