scantronic 9800 problems

hi all,
i have a scantronic 9800 alarm panel and it has been working fine for years however this morning it starting activating while unset with an "LT" error, "TR" and "EF" errors now i did open up the panel yesterday when i wired in a glass break but that detector was just wired off another and i only opened the panel to check the battery voltage.
i really don't know where to start it has sounded 10 times in the last hour and i have resorted to putting it in engineers mode to shut the thing up.

any advice would be much appreciated or is it just a sign of a dying panel?

Try powering it down , close the tamper switch with tie wrap , then power up , switch off with code , reset , then go into engineering , open tamper , box back up and exit engineering
