Vaillant TURBOmax VUW 282/1 E (Installed about 5 years ago)
New Diverter valve fitted about 4 months ago
New Pressure Relief Valve fitted 2 weeks ago

Since the fitting of the Pressure Relief Valve the boiler cycles on and off every five minutes and just prior to switching off it emits a high pitched screech (like a two stroke engine or airplane in the distance). This noise is getting on my nerves and is probably heard by next door neighbour as well.
My Corgi Registered plumber has given up; he hasn’t a clue where to go next. Can anyone on this Forum advise please?

Thanks PEDANTICVINDICTIVEMAN this could be the answer because when the system was refilled after replacing the PRV Tower XXX Inhibitor was used instead of Sintinel which had been used originally. (Tower XXX does claim to prevent boiler noise!)
I will post the outcome to this thread
