Hi

How can you tell when screed is dry enough to walk on / fit kitchen units on?

The screed was laid on Friday but still looks damp /wet in places. There are some patches of white but its mostly grey. The builders have got the kitchen fitter coming on Monday - but it looks doubtful to me ...

the floor is usually hard enough to walk on the next day.

it will still scuff easily though.

it will only be totally dry after about a week.

the units can still be fitted but not the kickboards.

Thanks, obviously the builder and fitter will do what they will do, but I'm grateful for you reply so that I can get still excited by the prospect of seeing the kitchen begin to happen now - it was started early August!
