Hi

How can you tell when screed is dry enough to walk on / fit kitchen units on?

The screed was laid on Friday but still looks damp /wet in places. There are some patches of white but its mostly grey. The builders have got the kitchen fitter coming on Monday - but it looks doubtful to me ... :(

the floor is usually hard enough to walk on the next day.

it will still scuff easily though.

it will only be totally dry after about a week.

the units can still be fitted but not the kickboards.

Thanks, obviously the builder and fitter will do what they will do, but I'm grateful for you reply so that I can get still excited by the prospect of seeing the kitchen begin to happen now - it was started early August!

Cheers :D
