I have a screenprinting vacuum table but it has no arm. The basically has a steel pole on the pack with a bracket attached with bearings that slide along the pole. Now the steel pole i have is too thick to fit the bearing bracket and the bracket is not adjustable. So is it possible to either thin the pole to fit the bracket or bore out the bracket to fit the pole? The bearings are removable. It looks to be steel and the pole seems to be hollow but no idea how thick.

I dont get you? The bracket is cast in 1 piece. The nuts and bolts are purely to replace the bearings
Ah, my bad: not looking closely enough. I still think you have to alter the bracket as (even if there was meat there to do it which I doubt) you'd need a lathe to reduce the bar.

I'd see if you can't cutthe brackdet in 4 and reassemble with spacers: I don't think you'd need to alter the bore as the bearings determine the diameter
