sds and sds +, the same?

are sds and sds+ the same drill bits or are they different like sds max?

"SDS-plus" (aka SDS+) is frequently and lazily (by me anyway) abbreviated to "SDS".

"SDS-max" is the same principle as SDS+, but the shank is larger.

IIRC + is 10mm and max is 18mm.
