Sealing a sandy concrete garage floor

Hello

Ive got a concrete floor in the garage and its always very dusty. Its basically solid but when I sweep it I get a small pile of soft sand. I assume it wasn't mixed correctly when it went down.

Any tips on how best to deal with this. I think its too dusty for floor paint.

Hoover and then spray on SBR+.

Not especially. If water is allowed to form on the surface of tamped concrete, and that surface is allowed to dry (without any later trowel work), it will likely end up 'dusting'.

In order to get a tight finish with poured concrete, it needs to be worked quite late in the setting process otherwise most concrete finishes will dust.

I understand but I think this is more than dusty. Sweep 1sqm of floor with a stiff broom and I have a small pile of yellow sand. I don’t think it’s bound together properly
