Hi Folks,
I was wondering if anyone had experience of using a seaward BS6761 all in one tester?
How did you find it? did it do everything necessary? is it value for money?
any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers

have their pat tester and seems ok can't comment on the all in one as i have a fluke 1651 which can be a pain sometimes (test circuit more than once get differing readings!)

Do you mean the Primetest 300?

We have them at work, only trouble we've come across is that although it is bluetooth enabled and there is a menu reference to a bluetooth RFID wand in the tester, Seaward are not selling one and state that the wand was in the menu from a prototype and is not supported in the released version  so how do you use the Braincells(RFID Tags) with it? answer is you don't except read only?? ,you can only read/write them with the wired wand that plugs into the old Supernova!

Seems daft that a new tester wil not use the RFID technology properly but will use old barcode technology instead, whereas the old tester will support the new stuff? :?

Problem we have now is three different types of inputting asset ID's (barcode,RFID using our old supernova and Manual typing) will no doubt lead to errors.

Apart from what we think is a major flaw above, the tester makes installation testing a breeze along with Pat testing (it does both) and seems to be a good all round tester.
