hi, how would one go about trying to find someone to critique a builder's work and then explain to them why it's wrong. going down the full building survey route is unaffordable, we basically spent all of our money on this guy and his promises. if anyone has any advice, would be grateful. i will try and add pics soon, basically a messy job, struck pointing. stupidly we paid him!

Why did you pay for a bad job? Plenty of people will tell you its a poor job, no ones gonna want to get involved with arguing! Get a surveyor or another brickie!
