Within the alarm panel there's a supply cable that runs in parallel with the pcb within the alarm panel. In the new onsite guide on pg 75 it says 50mm space. To follow this rule I was thinking of running the cable outside the panel in parallel to the bottom edge as far over as possible. Then using the break in points to get into the panel and upto the terminal block.

Having some trunking in the middle of the wall doesn't look very nice. since it's underneath the stairs can I not clip the supply cable direct onto the wall? I know sparks do that in garages.

Any advice will be appreciated

IMO the T&E can be taken into the enclosure where you have, but it should continue sheathed until as close as possible to the mains terminals. It should also be clamped at entry to the enclosure to prevent any risk of it being pulled out.

The alarm cabling should be dressed neatly and kept as far away from the mains terminals as possible.

The mains supply should enter the case next to the mains terminal block, there is usually a specific entry hole for it.
Having the mains cable across the back like that is wrong.

The rest of the wiring is an untidy shambles and none of it appears to be identified.

Presumably the battery has been removed, or is hanging from the wires below the panel?

Mess, take the mains in from the mains knockout.
Dress it up a bit please.
How is the lid going on when the battery is fitted?

As said label the cables too.

False alarm city waiting to happen there.
