Hi

Have a seized water pump, (it hasn't been on for over a year) Normally you can take a cap off the end of it and free it with a flat screwdriver but this one seems to just have a screw in it, when loosened it doesn't seem to come out or do anything.
Any ideas

By the way I have bad acess so can't actually see the end of the pump.

sounds like the old myson compact pump.
remove the black cover.
unscrew the nut pull it foreward and it will lock into the propeller and then try turn it.

the black plastic cover can be used to unsrew the bolt it covers.
when you say pull forward do you mean pull it outward from the pump?
