Is there any way to show the total file size of selected files in Windows Explorer. I need to know if the files I select will fit on a disk. TIA

Collate them all into one folder then get properties of the folder.
Or, if burning to a disk, thrwo them all at your disk burning app, and it will tell you if there is enough room on the disk.

It's on the status bar when you have multiple objects selected. If you can't see the status bar at the bottom of the Explorer window then turn it on from the view menu.

That's fine for seletcing files, but selecting multiple folders won't give you aggregate amount i'm afraid.
