self adhesive vinyl tiles and underlay

i am going to put these tiles down in my bathroom

and i was wondering what underlay i could use to provide a bit of cushioning?

i was thinking of putting a 5mm ply decking over the floorboards and then maybe some foam underlay then the self adhesive tiles. I am worried that the foam underlay may not be robust enough to hold the tiles in place?
