I have a small outside terrace with an existing double power point connected and working fine. I want to replace this with a remote control version (in picture), to allow me to control some new garden lights from inside the home. I didnt fit the existing outdoor socket myself, but the new one with remote control seems relatively easy to replace this, but before I do is there any advice before I try to fit this myself? Do I need an RCD for example? Any help is very welcome and appreciated.
