Hi,

I have an Accenta 8EP396A Optima Compact panel with built-in LED Keypad. I have recently had to move the sensors on the wall due to fitting coving. This triggered the Tamper alarm on the panel each time and also set of the external alarm.

Although I have managed to re-set the keypad (I.e just power and Day LED's lit now and not tamper lock-out) none of the sensors work.

As such when you go to set the alarm it immediately lights up all zones as having errors with them.

Any help please would be appreciated. Could it be something as simple as fuse? - if so how and where is the fuse (Main box or LED keypad?)

Thanks.

you`ve blown a fuse, inside the main box - careful now, beware of the mains

Thanks Atilla,

If I flick the mains off at the consumer unit, I guess the alarm will go into battery back-up mode.

Am I OK at this point to change the fuse or do I need to do anything else first?

Also is there likely to be only 1no fuse in main box or will I have to check a few?

PS - Are the fuses available at DIY stores or are they a bit more specialist - I.e need to order from electrical specialist online.

Cheers
