The problem will, as usual, be the oven connections, which are probably sized by the manufacturer for 2.5 max cable rather than 4mm.hi well now im lost, why does b and q sell the appliance if not for here.
not sure what to do now
any idears?
thanks chrissy
They can be used here, it's just that they can be more awkward to install.hi well now im lost, why does b and q sell the appliance if not for here.
The hob will be fine.is the hob ok with 4mm
That stays the same.and do i need to change the fuse in consumer box or does this still stay the same at 30
The purpose of the fuse/MCB is to protect the cable from dangerous overheating if there's an overload or a fault. Clearly that won't work if it will let through enough current to damage the cable.from what you say the continent can use 2.5mm but i have to use 4mm
wish id done a course in electrics!!!
