I removed the wooden shelf above the cistern today to try and look at the set up. There was no access (or at least it hadn’t been considered). Cistern is occasionally running after flushing (pushing a button in sharply usually stops the water).

There was no access underneath the wooden shelf.

be very grateful to have a bit advice on this. I tried to unclip the chrome bezel around the buttons with no great success.

My skill set probably would be decent enough to fix this if I know a bit more about what’s likely required.

many thanks

access is through the chrome fascia with the buttons. the ones i’ve fitted were removed by pushing upwards to unclip.

Thanks. Should a person get enough access from there/from the side (rather than from above) to likes of change the flush valve?

the valve has to be disassembled to get it out.

Thanks. Good to understand. Less good a prospect to try and work on

Would be quite good if I could rustle up some instructions on the interweb. I’ll maybe try n search.

Dont force it, everything will go through the aperture, usually without disassembly of parts, takes a bit of wigglin n jigglin.
Plenty of instruction online and try
toiletspares.co.uk for parts

Might just need the flush (push) rods adjusting. Mine go "out" every now and again and cause either running or poor flushing (it's a ROCA) but I think very similar.
