Setting Condensing Boiler Flow Temperature

Do you mean close down the normal valve or the lockshield?
Either - it doesn't matter which. My preference would be to turn down the LS valve as it can't be easily altered. All you are doing is reducing the flow through the radiator, so the average temperature of the rad is reduced and consequently the heat output is reduced.

Have you balanced the system?

Ok, will give that a try.

Yes system was re-balanced when boiler was fitted last week, as the installers asked me to run some X800 in the week before, with all valves and LS fully open.
