Sewage...........

I had a good day. The sewer pump packed up, spent several hours sitting on a tank full of s**t stripping down the pump and finding it needs a new part. Coming tomorrow I hope.......

One 25p bracket rusted, broke and dropped the float switch assembly to the bottom of the tank. Pumped out below the suction pipe, motor still running but the pump is not designed to run dry...

Still it has been trouble free since October 1992 so I cannot really moan....

I just need a shower but we have to reduce waste until that part arrives.

( No jokes about part Pee please )

yes some of you guys hit it in the head .rain two days nearly washed away benidorm half the hills were rolling down the streets, sticky vicky needs ironing, hotel so & so but in general the place was better than blackpool plenty to do and see most for free would go again,

The part arrived. ( wel done Mono Pumps, excellent service ) has been fitted and the pump tested. and it works.

At last I can have a shower.

I wasn't actually in the cess pit, the pump is about 12 inches above the plate across the of of the tank but enclosed in a brick built well. It just smelt like I had been in the cess pit. I had a good wash with minimal water before going to bed....alone.......

And besides for the last 30 minutes last night it was pouring with rain so I had a cold shower before I came in.
