I am wanting to install a shaver socket into the bathroom and was just wondering what the steps are to do this. much appreciated Tony.

Test the lighting circuit, take supply from this if OK.

Your need to take L,N and E via 1.0mm or 1.5mm twin and earth from the lighting circuit in the ceiling.
Then run a 4mm earth from the fitting to either the existing bathroom equi-potential bonding or if none exists, do the bathroom bonding as new.

Back box needs to be 45mm depth and bathroom works is notifiable under Part P rules.
