Shaver point cable

Hi All,
I'm remodelling my bathroom and need to move a shaver point. The current cable that supplies it is taken off the lighting fitting and looks tiny. My plan is either to join new cable to it in the loft via a junction box or run a new one off straight off the new fitting. Can I use 1mm T&E in both instances?

Yup 1mm² is fine if it's fed from the lighting circuit. An entire new length of cable is preferable
