Shelf Removal

Hello,

I'm having a little difficulty removing the middle shelf of a unit.

The screws holding it in place are underneath and appear to go round the corner? I've loosened them but this seems to have no effect?

Any suggestions?

1 is of the full unit and the 2nd is the screws underneath the middle shelf.

they look like cams to me
you cannot remove the shelve without cutting it in halve as there are pins going into the cams when you twist the cam it hooks round the end off the pin

Why have you got a door in your ceiling?

On a more serious note, as a rule of thumb undoing the shelves will involve the opposite of assembling the unit. Look on the outside of the carcass for clues, or search online for assembly instructions for similar looking units.
