Shell

Is that because of all the rubbish
I think I saw some of that rubbish. On the beach you say...

I wonder what the remoaners will say about that?

Easy, are you classing this as a win for Brexit? Can you explain that?

Obviously all the Brexxers on here are finance wizards who know everything about trade. Or is it that Shell was being hounded by an activist investor and wants to do a share buyback which would be easier and cheaper if they did that in the UK as there is no 15% witholding tax - but Shell could have made this move before, so why now? Well with gas and oil prices at a record high - now is an optimum time to do a share buyback as BP share price has risen 50%.

But yes chalk this down a win for Brexit if that gets you to sleep.

It has nothing to do with brexit other than its an opportune time for them to do it now with a buoyant share price and an activist investor nipping at their heels.

Oh dear the poor hate filled remoaners

who can’t wait to sing the praises of any company that move to the EU countries :ROFLMAO:

Is that because of all the rubbish from France ending up on the Kent beaches ?
Ihavenojob thinks refugees are simply “rubbish”

only a thoroughly unpleasant person would make such a post.

The sort of person that thinks that all people on benefits are scroungers.

I see the EU aren't too keen to let those refugees from Belarus in. If only they were as strict with the thousand a day in they let sit about in France waiting to get to the U.K.

Well several people have made the comment that torys are scum ?

Theresa may the X PM is a murderer ect ect

let those who are with out sin cast the first stone ( Joe Stalin)

Think one particular person in here who occupies the moral high ground :ROFLMAO:

suggested that all brexit voters should be hung from lamp posts

let those with out sin cast the first stone ( idi amin)

Been bubbling away for ten years or so I thought because of the complications of dual listing and board meetings in both countries. The Dutch were going to ditch the witholding tax but back tracked in 2017.

The ones in Belarus have been flown there by Putin.

there’s a difference

Why don't you get the facts?

The Belarus Government has given these people visas and then shipped them to the Polish Border with wire cutters to make a scene to force the EU to drop its sanctions against the Belarus leader who rigged the last elections.

https://www.vox.com/2021/11/14/22781335/belarus-hybrid-attack-immigrants-border-eu-poland-crisis

Belarus has sent thousands of desperate migrants to its border with Poland in a bid to antagonize the European Union over sanctions imposed last year, in the wake of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s brutal crackdown on political opponents and protesters.

The migrants — between 3,000 to 4,000 people according to Polish authorities, primarily from conflict-torn regions of the Middle East like Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Afghanistan — have come to Belarus after the government relaxed visa rules in August, providing a safer, easier route to the EU border.

Belarus has also taken direct action to make things harder for its EU neighbors: The New York Times reports that Belarusian security forces have provided migrants with instructions on crossing the borders and tools like wire cutters and axes to break down border fences.

It's typical, after a hard dose of facts they default to their natural position - immigrant this, immigrant that.

Now is the time for BP to do the share buyback, on top they lost the case in the Dutch courts over their climate targets and that a major dutch pension said it would start to sell their holdings.
