typical neanderthal "hate change" response.... back to what i said... it was a "half baked " idea to support how i felt.... It would need working on, it's certainly not finalised.... but as expected you muppet jump all over it... No wonder this country/ no, world.... is in such a state !!
There must be a nice, fluffy, supportive forum out there somewhere for you martian.
You know, one where when you throw up an idea no one says, that's no good because of this or that.
One where everyone says, that's a wonderful idea martian, isn't martian great, let's all be your friend martian........

In fairness to Immy, would anyone object if I asked the mods to move it around some different forums to see if we can hit 1000 votes?

Mathematically, 12 is a sample at risk... 1000 is at much less risk - somebody said friends might influence it....

The idea is that you pick 1000 random people from around the world who can log on to the trial via the internet.... they get an hour to log their decision...

Why on earth would we want to pick 1000 random people from around the world to decide the fate of someone standing trial in our criminal system? Surely it would have to be 1000 people from the UK ?

We already have enough interference from Europe, without involving the rest of the F*****g world.
