Don't do domestic, mainly industrial fault finding, you like jumping to conclusions
You like saying silly things unless you are referring to you just putting the lights on top of the posts and wiring those into existing cutouts then that I agree is totally boring and mind numbing, but then we have to do those things ourselves. But how you can describe installing a 360 lighting system and overhead gantry traffic management system along with its massive undertaking of the control systems and distribution panels as mind numbing and boring is quite frankly laughable. It is work that is highly specialised and undertaken by experienced and qualified electricians like myself who do this work. It isn't something your average industrial spark would be called upon to do.

It's not exactly rocket science is it? It's just 2 swa cables into a terminal box.

yes thats all it is.. Have you actually tried doing one? It is nothing like trying to put an SWA into a dis board where you can manipulate the swa where you want with excess room to bend and terminate. This is more like trying to terminate SWA in a mouse hole where your hands hardly fit. an inch out of line or cut wrong will render the cutout impossible to fit the. lids on as it wont line up. Trust me it is not all as it seems.

And for your stupid comment of it isnt exactly rocket science, what actually is. Do you think your work is rocket science?

The only people who say it is easy or there is nothing to it are the ones who have never done it before. I do it and I would rank myself top drawer but still find them a struggle.

Over 1000 meters of new 25mm 5 core pulled into ducts today for new motorway link, feel like I have gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson now. Terrible because I am. on call all week until Monday. OMG I feel like a zombie.
