Hi, we’ve got a very small shower (760mm square), height is about 200 at its highest, but as you’re looking at it the left hand roof is slanted….
Issue we have is finding a way to stop water ingress into the shower room, the base is raised about 2000mm off the floor and having a shower curtain in such a small space just ends up sticking to you.
I’ve got a 760mm wide door which is 1400mm high (max hight as there is a rsj sticking out before the slant), so wont stop all water but most. The issue with this is mounting, if I align to the edge of the base then the only fixing point would be into tile backer board, is that strong enough?…..there is a wooden joist but its about 30mm further forwards, and would leave a gap between door and base to escape.
Behind the backer board is a hollow wall, I could get access here is I could fix a support in there.
Any ideas on what to do here, I like the idea of putting some barrier up but not sure where I could mount the hinges.
Thanks
