Hi all recently had a brand new slim shower tray installed and worked fine for a few weeks. Then all of a sudden it’s now overflowing. As soon as I remove the chrome cover protecting the trap it flows perfectly. Any help would be appreciated.

Pull out the cup that’s below the chrome embellisher and give that a clean.....hair is a great enemy!

You could try replacing it with one of these:
It fits most sizes, having three different sized rubber seals, and is easy and quick to fit and remove in order to pull out all the hair it catches, and it does catch the lot!
