I have just taken out the electric shower I had in my bathroom and I have removed the power cable that supplied it, as there is no need for it in my new bathroom.
The cable was wired into the consumer unit and had its own MCB. This MCB is now redundant, and I was wondering if it is safe to just leave it in the consumer unit when it is not connected to any circuits or are there special blanking plates I need to use instead??
I hope i am making sense?!?!
I have not touched any of the other fuses or cabling in the consumer unit, I just removed the cable supplying the shower.
