Sick of building work ...

Building work in the house since April.
Getting there.... final internal structural work being done today - opening a new doorway for corridor, closing up an old door. Just need to insulate under floors, walls, plasterboard, plaster, and finish. .... and doors. And change some rads.

Had enough of DIY and building, burnt out now!

I think mine will go on for a lot longer.
Hope is to have eldest son's room ready by Christmas, then at least bedroooms, kitchen and lounge will all be done.
Just bathrooms, hallways ... then the garden, fences, shed, patio ....

luckily I've also run out of money, so have a reason to pause a bit.

I bought an old 2 bed bungalow with no insulation, and am turning it into a 4 bed bungalow .....

it is a lot. But getting there.

If you got time to work on your own house then you can't be much in demand . . . That's what I told my missus for the first 30 years
