Side door on house?? width measurements anyone??

Hello all

Quick query here. I'm building a brick wall on the side of my house house but i want to know what width i should leave for the door frame and door. One side of the door frame will be plum with the house and the other touching the brick wall i'm going to build. Is there a standard measurement to use? Haven't bought door or frame yet.
